  1. Iva D.

Draw a hexagon with side length of 3 cm, then translate it by the vector DA (the  diagonal from point D to point A). Then, perform a central symmetry of the obtained hexagon over point C

  2. Toma Š.

Draw an equilateral triangle with side lengths of 5 cm and vertices D, E, and F,          then reflect it over the line DE, and rotate the resulting triangle around vertex D  y  90°

  3. Tena N.

Draw an equilateral triangle ABC with a side length of 3 cm, map it over the line BC, then translate the resulting figure by the vector AC, and rotate the result by 60° around point C.

  4. Dora Ć.

Draw trapezoid ABCD (the lengths of the sides are not specified), map it over line CD, translate the resulting figure by vector AD, and rotate the result around point B by 180°.

  5. Andrija K.

Draw an obtuse triangle ABC (the lengths of the sides are not specified),  translate it by vector AC, map the resulting figure over line AB, and rotate the result around point C by -65°

1ST GYMNASIO OF POLICHNI TEAM

    6. Konstantinos T. : Draw a regular pentagon with a side length of 5 cm, reflect it over the point D. Rotate the result by 90 degrees around point D.
Reflect the total  creation by line BC.

     7. Kyriakos K.: Draw a square (5 cm for each side), draw the line BC, reflect the square in line and rotate the new object around point B, by 45 degrees.

    8. Eudokia K.: Draw a hexagon with side lengths 3cm, vertices A, B, C, D, E, F and the line AC.

Reflect the hexagon in line AC and rotate the resulting hexagon around vertex B by 45 degrees.

9.Vasilis T.:Draw a octagon with side length of 5 cm, then perform a central symmetry over point E.

Then, translate the total shape by vector FB (the diagonal from point F to point B).

  10. Stella S.:Draw a circle with center O and radius length 5cm and a chord AB. Translate the circle by vector OA.

Then reflect the result by line OB and rotate the final result around point O by 90 degrees.

TASK: DESIGN 5 DIFFERENT LETTERS

  • Constructing Square ABCD: Start by drawing a line segment AB with a length of 1 cm.

°Choose an appropriate vector for translation. Let’s call it v.
°Translate square ABCD by applying vector v.

  • Designing the First Letter of Your Name:
    • Consider the shape of the letter you want to create.
For example, if you want to design the letter “K,” think about its structure.
    • Position the translated square in a way that forms the desired letter.
    •  Adjust its orientation and position as needed.
  • Marking the Translation Vector:
    • Mark vector v on your diagram. (You can use an arrow .) 😊
